The North American Handmade Bicycle Show is venturing east of the Mississippi for the first time, to Richmond Virginia, this weekend.
It’s gonna be a whopper this year, zillions of frames, some without lugs! It’s also being ‘sponsored’ by Shimano, apparently an outdoor equipment manufacturer. Not sure what their tie to bikes is, but their site does ask, ‘ready for some real bottom fishing excitement?‘ , which ought to get them in the door I suppose.
There have also been promises of free beer, but I’ve fallen for that one before. I’ll believe it when I see it.
Anyway, we’ll be at booth #115, which is a piece of information you really don’t need, just look for the row with all the usual suspects.
If that free beer thing works out, bring your cash earmarked for drinks to our booth. We’ll have some nice bikes, new shirts, and free stickers to put above the urinals in the convention center.
